Got Protein?

I need some obviously.

I've noticed since hitting my goal weight, that I've been fraternizing with carbs a little too freely. Carbs are good. They give you energy, help your brain function, and loads of other stuff. But like anything, too much is just too much.

I'm going to start watching them again. Making sure I eat enough of the yummy suckers but not overdoing it. I'm feeling a little pouchy in the belly and I don't like it! Upping my intake of lean protein and limiting my carbs to breakfast and lunch should help that.

My run was rained out this morning and I am hoping to get it in around 2pm today. The sky had better cooperate because I haven't ran since Friday and I am feeling antsy. I don't normally take such a long break, getting in at least 3 miles on Sundays. This weekend I was under the weather and opted to clean the house instead of run. Now I'm regretting that decision.
